What We Cherish
1. Discipleship, Edification, and Maturity in Christ
- Discipling our converts to attain the full measure of the stature of Christ — i.e., maturity.
(Ephesians 4:12–16) - Edifying and developing church members’ talents, skills, and abilities, deploying them to advance the Kingdom of God.
(Romans 12:3–8) - Developing members into matured leaders who will pray, preach, teach, and bring revival to communities and nations.
(Acts 8:1–5)
2. Fellowship (Koinonia)
- We are to practice true, lasting, and loving relationships among brethren that enable us to serve one another through Christ.
(Hebrews 10:25; 1 John 1:5–7) - Members are to cherish assembling regularly for spiritual fellowship and edification.
- Activities such as Sunday morning services, teaching services, prayer meetings, etc., are to be highly cherished.
- GRM members should foster a healthy atmosphere of love, joy, peace, and unity, promoting growth and spiritual maturity.
(Ephesians 4:1–5, 15–16) - Fellowship must extend beyond spiritual gatherings — including social interaction, kindness, and compassion.
- Members should practice sharing of material things, socialising with empathy and showing care to others.
(1 Peter 2:9)
3. Worship and Exaltation
- Raising true worshippers who worship God in spirit and in truth.
(John 4:23–24; Psalm 29:1–2) - Worship of God must reflect in our daily lifestyle.
(Matthew 5:14–16) - Encouraging all members to flow under the anointing of God’s Spirit with praise and honour to God.
(1 Peter 2:9) - Enthusiastic participation in worship and praise is expected during services.
- Celebrating the goodness, power, wisdom, and other attributes of God should be a consistent lifestyle.
(Hebrews 13:15; Psalm 119:164)
